Growing up in various communities across Accra, including Ablekuma and Omanjor, Masta Kay developed a deep appreciation for Ghanaian culture and everyday life — elements that would later become the foundation of his music. He attended Mampong Presec, where he studied Visual Arts, nurturing his creativity beyond music into areas like theatre, video editing, and directing.
