A Decade of Dominance: The Roadmap for BHIM Festival 2025

The BHIM Festival, founded by global Afro-dancehall icon Stonebwoy, has evolved into one of the most significant cultural gatherings on the African continent. For its 10th anniversary edition, scheduled for December 24, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium, the festival adopted the theme "Rooted. Resonant. Global."—a reflection of Stonebwoy’s journey from the streets of Ashaiman to the world stage.

A major highlight for the 2025 edition was the participation of Nigerian superstar Mr P (Peter Okoye of P-Square). Arriving in Ghana on December 22, 2025, Mr P’s presence signaled more than just a performance; it was a symbolic union of two of Africa's most influential music markets. His endorsement of Stonebwoy as a "continental treasure" ahead of the show set the tone for a festival built on unity and excellence.

The 2025 festival was designed to be more than a standard concert. The program featured Stonebwoy in three distinct "Acts," mapping out his musical evolution. Supported by world-class stagecraft and high-fidelity sound, the production aimed to set a new benchmark for stadium events in West Africa. The lineup also featured a powerhouse of African talent, including Cina Soul, Efya, D Cryme, King Jerry, and Epixode, ensuring a multi-genre experience for the 40,000 fans expected to fill the venue.

In a move to expand the festival’s impact, the 2025 calendar included the BHIM Creative Expo, held from December 23 to 25. This immersive showcase focused on the intersection of art, fashion, and technology, allowing fans to engage with the BHIM brand beyond the music. Furthermore, the festival's "Tree-for-a-Ticket" initiative highlighted a commitment to environmental sustainability, with organizers pledging to plant a tree for every attendee.

As a flagship event under the Ghana Tourism Authority’s "December in GH" initiative, the 2025 BHIM Festival played a critical role in positioning Accra as a premier destination for the global diaspora. By blending high-octane entertainment with professional event management, the 10th anniversary stood as a testament to Stonebwoy’s enduring legacy and his role as a cultural ambassador for Ghana.
