Kelvyn Boy Survives Accident, Shares Powerful Testimony

Ghanaian Afrobeats star Kelvyn Boy has opened up about a harrowing near-death experience that has left him with a fractured ankle. In a social media update shared on December 23, 2025, the "Down Flat" hitmaker revealed that the incident happened a few days ago behind Center Point Mall, near Atomic Junction when a driver reversing a vehicle reportedly lost control and headed straight for the artist. According to Kelvyn Boy, the quick intervention of two of his teammates, who reacted in time to pull him away, saved him from more severe or even fatal injuries.

Despite the trauma and the physical injury, the singer’s focus remains on his fans and his professional commitments. He has shared videos of himself in a wheelchair and images of his bandaged leg and X-rays, but his message is one of resilience. He issued a sincere apology to promoters and fans for missing recent shows but emphasized that he is "racing against time" to get back on stage.

Kelvyn Boy has made it clear that a fractured ankle will not keep him down for long. He assured the industry and his followers that he intends to honor his remaining end-of-year bookings—even if he has to perform on crutches. "Nothing's gonna stop us now," he stated, urging fans and event organizers to work with his management on rescheduling.

This incident serves as a sobering reminder of road safety during the busy December festivities. While the music industry breathes a sigh of relief over his survival, fans are already flooding his pages with messages of support, wishing the "Down Flat" hitmaker a speedy recovery.
